 | Re: Hearing Yea, I tend to agree. All things being equal and if hearing protection is used, there is a slight hearing loss due to ageing. The only thing I've noticed is my tinnitus gets louder as I dive more often and decreases over time as I don't dive. Usually the tinnitus returns to ambient after two to three weeks of not diving.
