Captain Mike and Crew are first rate. Class all the way on this liveaboard. I have been to both BC and Revillagigedo Islands, Mexico on the Nautilus, diving my Inspiration, and would do both trips again. They know what rebreather divers need and want, and they deliver. e-diver doesn't know shit. While Captain Mike runs a tight ship, it is out of concern for the safety of all. All I can say is that Mike took us to fantastic spots with a full range of diving options available. When the pool was open, it was WIDE open! e-diver signed up on March 12, left his comment on March 13 and has not logged on since. Seems mighty suspect to me.

Excellent, well-run ship. Rebreather-friendly (Mike the skipper dives CCR).
Very stable off-shore.

Went on the Socorro trip in 2005. It was a rebreather training trip. Unfortunately, Capt. Mike was not cooperative with the needs of the trainers to put us on appropriate sites for the training. Also, he did not understand the characteristics of the rebreather divers and obsessed about their safety. He carried a stick to protect himself from the sharks! To many incidents happened to mention. Although the diving was great, the tension on the boat contributed to an unpleasant trip. Since I had traveled on this boat previously, I was shocked by this behavior. Was it the Cabo Triangle?

I have done the Alaska and Mexico (Socorro) trip on Nautilus Explorer and have booked for the Guadalupe White Shark Cage diving trip in October 2006. Overall they are a great boat and very CCR friendly. Owner/Captain Mike is a Meg diver himself, and they even have helium on board for those certified.

Did CC training on Nautilus Explorer in Jan 05 at Socorro Mexico. Excellent crew with great service and food. Highly recommended.

Went in June of 2005, it was a trip with the Vancouver Aquarium. The trip was great and the boat and the staff were completely friendly would highly recommend this boat I will be going back in 2007

I have 16 trips on this boat, they have all been very good to absolutly awesome. Captain Mike Lever runs a tight ship and knows his dive sites.
