Catalina Is. is 26 miles offshore of Los Angeles. Kelp forests and northernmost hard coral with many endemic fish species and typical viz in 40' to as much as 80', make for world-class diving. ScubaLuv has a very comfortable dayboat. Take fast ferry to Is from LA and meet at Avalon dock. Scubaluv has scrubber, mixes gas and excellent service. Can also arrange overnights on Island at good rates.
