No doubt it would be a simplified ( watered down version ) of a standard rebreather course.Next thought, with the unit's being delievered in feb/08 And at present no instructor's ( that I am aware of ) will the dealer's release the unit prior to customer certification? All the best. |

![]() | Re: DEMA 2007 - Poseideon Discovery (CIS MKVI) Thanks for your good summary. I really hope that the production design will be much more robust, and will not have only new hoses. I pre-ordered one unit because I like the general lay out, the weight and because from Dr. Pyle words in this site, I guessed that what has been shown is more a concept verification unit than a finished product. But the prototype I saw doesn’t seem to give the users many chances to reach an elderly age. |

The whole thing had been enclosed in a sort of wire cage and to be honest, it looked scary. I agree with Beanie, it is not a robust unit and I suppose they had the open water crowd in mind when they designed it but I still think it should be sturdier. Dive safe, Celia

Might as well bring a snorkel while your at it....I agree with Beanie, it is not a robust unit and I suppose they had the open water crowd in mind when they designed it but I still think it should be sturdier.
