| So much more to learn ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: any info or on Deeplife booth ? I wonder did anyone get to the Deeplife booth ? We combined with Micropore and featured it there, as the EAC pitch and the DL pitch are the same (safety). The stand was very busy: someone commented that every time he went past, there were more at our stand than the Exploradores stand (complete with 6 models/strippers). Even the leader of the Exploradores came along to see what the fuss was, which reminds me, I need to explain to my wife about the knickers and mini-top I have in my luggage .. before she finds those herself - they gave Big Jeff (of Diverite) and I a pair. Stuart of Rebreather World came by, but there too many people were already there in front, so we never did catch up with him. Next year. Altogether a very encouraging response. Micropore hosted on their stand, as well as the EAC scrubbers, with the cans for LARs and Optima: 1. Complete DL's Open Revolution submission in a form factor fitting Optima/Draeger. This was a working unit though everytime we put it together people wanted to see what is inside, so most of the time we had it open with the membrane off from around the CO2, CO and HC sensor, which many photographed, along with many of the other unique aspects of the control system. 2. Shell for the commercial rebreather using two of the same. 3. Olivier Isler's XDH (eXtreme Dive Helmet), on a maninkin, which we are putting into production tooling right now and going through the global approvals process. Picture already in the DEMA gallery (that was on the corner of the stand, and high up). 4. Some other things we had there include the previous generation of handset, some of the PPO2 monitor stuff we are doing. The Rebreather World video team got a full video of the sports version of this. Let us see how much is editted out. It would be useful to post with very little edit, onto the Open Revolution part of the site, as it really went through everything. I'll post pictures of all of this under the Open Revolution area of this site next week, using the $300 camera I bought at the show: 12Mpixel camera, plus 720 x 480 video recorder, with a 2GB flash card. Another bargain stand you missed ... You just need to be there at next year's show .. Alex Last edited by AD_ward9 : 15th November 2006 at 09:24. |

Just to get things clear for some others, in case one might not know who Alex is, google "StatEye" word, and you'll see that this man is making revolution not a first time ![]() It's trylu a rarely seen combination met in these "consumer society" days: a high level of knowledge and a passion to dive.
