Your stops at depth should help reduce the shallows but this does not happen in practice on the VR3.. Errrrrr this is exactly what my VR3 does. I have never had it extend my shallow stops if I add deep stops (which I do every dive) and it always credits me for deep stops by reducing the shallow stop time. Generally if the VR3 is telling me to go from a deep pile stop to a much shallower stop I say sod that and add a super slow 3m/min ascent or more stops. The VR3 will reduce the next stop time and often deletes it completely. On look ahead I have seen a 45min at 6m stop reduce to 30mins by adding slow ascents and deep stops. ATB Mark Chase

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have asked that from Delta-P and the answer was in late June. Actually now is quite late June ![]() The software has been in testing with some divers (not me). I am very interested in it also, because in my OC days I dived mainly VPM profiles. JH Finland |

| RebreatherWorld Sponsor ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Vpm-b The latest info I have from Delta P is the VPM-B will be available from August 2005 and will require your Vr3 being returned to them for the upgrade. The cost will depend on how old your Vr3 is and if you need to get a new board fitted to enable VPM-B, later units will just require the software. New units will be available with VPM-B as an option when ordered and will add about 250 stg to the cost of the Vr3. Cheers

I think the VPM B upgrade for new VR3s should be free or at least for a handling charge. If they are going to be charging that money then they are going to price themselves out of a market...

So the Vr3 C4 CCR/Trimix could end up around 910 stg - 1365 euro with the VPM-B. Cheers

Geeze Louise! So much for supporting their customer base. If they are going to charge this much, how about a manual that one can understand? Maybe I just need my early morning coffee. ![]()
