Hi all
Whilst still having more than 1 hour of deco still left to do today I was wondering what you guys do to help pass the time whilst hanging there.

I do suduko problems, ... it doesn't matter if you get them out or not, it just whiles away the time... got to make sure your original numbers are in texta first and when you get bogged down, go onto a new one...

Cheers, JDZ

Re: Interesting deco !!!!!!!!

I'm paid by the hour, I spend most days not thinking about anything, occasionally looking at the clock to see if it is time to go

Like Dave says, I like to just switch off. I find it very relaxing and a nice way to end a really good dive.

Not politically correct but I do occasionally take some, er, European art magazines for longer dives. Charity shops are good for old paperbacks, estimate how many pages you'll read and tear them out and take them rather than killing the whole book.

After doing many years of deep diving and thousands of hours of decompression, it seems to be much easier to just turn off your head and half sleep. Its amazing on just how fast time goes this way.

When you first start decompression diving a half hour seems like so long, now I dont even blink at having to do 30-60 minutes. But I still hate doing 3-5 hours.

I actually like to keep all dives (if possible) between 90 and 150 minutes total in water time.
