Re: Shallow dive after a deco dive

How do see coming out of the cave if you have to dive shortly to 30m to get out after surfacing after 100 min dive to 90m?
Is it better to do it right a way if the other option is to wait for 30...60 minutes.

In discussions on the SA IANTD Yahoo group I posted a comment about diving to 60m - BT was 35min and total dive time was 115min. After a 2hr sit I then went and dived 10m for 70min - all the way following my VR3. I had a comment that this was a sure way to bend as the micro bubbles would recompress and move into the soft tissues which could result in a spinal bend. It was also stated that "wkpp" had banned this and practice. Your views please ?
I personally would have waited 3hrs, but that also depends on water temp, conditions, and how I was feeling that day. I am also a little older and a little rounder 3 or 4 yrs ago would not have thought twice about that profile.

Judging by some of De8us 's profiles you just do it very very quickley
