![]() | Hi I thought that some of you guys might be using Vplanner and know how to solve my little problem with Vplanner (pocketPC version). The thing is, that I left my pocket-PC without recharging it for too long, and as a result everthing was reset. So I had to reinstall Vplanner. After reinstalling it, it comes up with the Program Install code PO-12-34-56-78-90-AB-CD. Apparently this is some kind of dummy code, and not the code I got when I originally installed it. As a result I'm not able to use Vplanner on my pocketPC, - and that sucks. As anyone experienced anything similar and know what to do about it? |

![]() | Re: Re-installing Vplanner on pocketPC/PDA? I had to return my Pocket PC because the first was defective, I had already installed V-Planner. I simply used the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS to re add V-Planner, then the original code worked once i reinstalled it, I'm not sure if it was because it was the identical Pocket PC or because I installed it from the add/remove programs menu, but it worked. You could try that. If you have lost your code, contact V-Planner by e-mail. |

I dont know for definite but I would say that you had the same PPC back as VPlanner in all installs is very clever in that it generates the install code from the hardware. |

![]() | Re: Re-installing Vplanner on pocketPC/PDA? NOPE. I returned the pocket pc to the store I bought it from but they did not have a replacement. I went down the street and bought the replacement from a different store. I'm only assuming this worked either because it was the exact same model PPC or because I reinstalled V-Planner from the ActiveSync that was still installed on my home PC or a combination of both. Since it was a legitimate re install & I paid for the program a week earlier anyway I didn't see an issue with it working for me....... |
