I joined this board in Feb. 2005 being Dolphin certified and leave it being KISS certified! Along the way valuable information was gleaned from the knowledgeable RB divers here, not so much from the wannabees who read, ergo they know. Stick a fork in me, I'm done! You have to admit asking really fundemental questions it is easy to lead one to believe you missed some training along the way. You should not feel offended but honoured that so many people care about you.

Oh Bugger that just leaves me to ask the dumb questions ![]() I was rather hoping we could stick together and just remind the others that not every type of rebreather and not every question was answered in our training. And perhaps some questions were not answered to our satisfaction or to our full understanding. It is of paramount importance that people learn properly how to dive a rebreather. How they go about gaining that information is of secondary importance in my eyes. ATB Mark Chase

And perhaps some questions were not answered to our satisfaction or to our full understanding. I couldn't agree more. There are always a range of options, considerations and views to every problem. Rebreather World is a great place to learn and understand more about how others approach a situation but every now and then somebody rises to a level of righteousness and puts an inquisitive mind down and spoils it.We all know that nothing can replace formal training but we should all strive to continue to learn from others and share our knowledge with our peers. This is on the understanding of course that if you go and do something stupid you don't blame them for telling you that it was okay.
