I'm still saving for my unit, so I didn't buy it yet, although Joel hooked me up with a temp key, so I could plan some deeper dives and give it a workout. I don't have a lot of experience with planning software, so I can't compare it to others.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have been using the software (MAC version) since DEMA this past fall. I quite enjoy it because I can so easily compare different models without a lot of trouble. It has had several bugs in it, but the company has been consistently fixing them as they beccome obvious. So far, so good. MixAddict |

I have used the Hamilton model in my own software (XS) for a few years. With trimix it provides a nice curve, similar to GF30/90 profiles. I cannot say that my implementation is either accurate or the same model as Nautilus but the software is unretsricted if you want a feel for how the M11F6 model behaves on deeper dives as the Nautilus demo is quite limited, before shelling out the Nautilus fee. www.lizardland.co.uk Cheers, Stuart

![]() ![]() | Re: New software I have used both the Mac and PC ver and have had no trouble with the PC ver locking out. The program is intuative and easy to use. You can see multiple algorithms to give you an idea of different profiles you can use. It also has nice output tables. You can download a demo for either ver form their web site. http://nautilus.divebiz.net/dl2.html |

Can i trust the setup file? |

![]() | Re: New software I am glad to hear that the program is so well recieved. A couple of points need elaboration: 1. There is no "Nautilus" decompression model. The program is only an interface to 5 different models (Hamilton, Buhlmann, Yount & Hoffman, and Workman) B. Nautilus is the only authorized implementation of Dr. Hamilton's model outside of DCAP III. You can register for a 100 meter, full functioning demonstration version that will run for 14 days What I was trying to go for was an easy to use, Rebreather-friendly version of MigPlan.Mac. "Simple Planning for Complex Dives" is the motto. |

Another couple of times, no go.Dosn't like my Win2000 machine. |
