Hello All,

New version of V-Planner is now available here. This release has the following;

  • Grid plan display Now show plans in 3 different formats - Text, Grid data, ppGraphs.
  • Edit the titles for END, EAD, EADD: Now set your own title to these values... don't like "EAD".. change it to your own letters.
  • EADD values For deep dives - calculate the Equiv. Air Density values.
  • Variable Ratio Gas Addition For RB80's and clones - added the VRGA method to existing FiO2 adjustments.
  • IrDA - Infrared data transfer Synchronize the Pocket PC and Full PC programs. Exchange diver tissue / programs states, between the PPC/Mobile and Full PC programs. Exchange Diver and program Configuration settings too.

Hey Ross,

Good job, the day before yesterday I did a download and install on the Protec's computer to use in my CCR and mixed gas courses and I'm real happy with the new version.

Just out of interest whats the max depth anyone has achieved using v-planner without a bend.

Ross what would you suggest as V-planners max depth limit .

I have used this program from the first versions.
The first profiles were truly too much short. I have not never had bends, but I know some persons who is gone in hyperbaric chamber.
The last versions are conservative, and I use them without problems for depth around to the 100 meters.
Beyond this depth, I prefer not to take responsibility, everyone prepares his profile.
However I have used the profile generated from the V planner until 125 meters without problems.

Regards

Aldo

I share the same view, you plan your dive and you take your chance. I have dived V-planner deeper than 150m but am interested to see who as pushed it deeper than 200m

Quite a few sub 100m and deepest 150m so far on VPMB.

To go deeper Im happy to use VPMB but I will clear Buhlman tail.

I also accept that pure luck has a lot to do with getting bent or not.

Jerome is the man to ask. He uses VPMB for his crazy deep dives
