What deco program for a MAC computer?

I have upgraded to a new laptop and now need some deco software that works well with a MAC.
What do you use?

Cheers

Re: What deco program for a MAC computer?

Hello Roger,

Try MVPlan, written in Java so multi-platform.
There is also Nautilus Dive Planner.

Re: What deco program for a MAC computer?

if it's an intel mac, vplanner running under parallels is great and I have also run it under virtual pc on older macs.

Straight up MAC only...I'd go for Nautilus, it is also pretty great software.

Re: What deco program for a MAC computer?

I'll second the freeplanner. I run it on my Mac - seems great for OC - hopefully the CC version will be out soon.

Vidodivr - I have heard about Parallels locking up and having communication issues. Any experience with Fusion? I think I will end up getting that.

Re: What deco program for a MAC computer?

I am running fusion. And I am content with it.

I havent really had time to test it thoroughly bu I am happy with the performance of Visual Studio and the standard programs.

Re: What deco program for a MAC computer?

Sounds like the tail wagging the dog. Better to find the deco software that fits your needs and then get the tool that runs that program. You can probably find an old used laptop in a pawn shop that runs windows nice an cheap.

This is Rebreatherworld, so I think a CC version is pretty important to choices.

I have not heard of Fusion and will check it out, thanks, I have been using Parallels since about the first week of it's release and have not had an issue...I do only use it for vplanner and ProDive. WINDOZE....BOOOO

this looks pretty sweet, how tested is it?....One of the main reasons I chose vplanner is it's history and Ross is always lurking and tweeking.
