Re: What do you think

Simple method of testing your helium is the "squeek test" take a few breaths and recite something -- if you sound like a munchkin for about 45 seconds you are on the high end of 40-50% helium -- if less than 30 seconds you are in the 35% and less helium ....... (really it works im not kidding ) (i can see grown men going to the garage now with a stopwatch reciting scenes from the Wizard of Ozz

Cheers

From the above equation party ballons must contain 15% I can usually get to "all the wonderfull things he does"

As for O2 content 16%
I was driving home from a resterant once took a big inhale recited the Ozz tune and had to pull over a wee bit hypoxic I think.
But the kids loved it "Do it again daddy"
"Happy birthday" too you is another favorite.

Re: What do you think

It does not really matter much if the He is 20% or 35% decompression wise. Your head will notice it though

We use simple rule for marking mixes:
If analyzed we mark wih one decimal ----> 20,6 (for O2)
If calculated from the fill no decimal ----> 50 (for He)

I don´t own a helium analyzer so my labels mostly look like ---> TX16,5/55 etc.

That dive seemed to be the one that you should skip
Had a few of those myself.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! A good ale is always nice! Too bad about the spoiled dive, but there is always tomorrow! Was it "vagnhärad" you had planned to dive at?

Yes, it was Vagnhärad, but as it was closed we tried to get into the water in Lövsta, but then Murphy started to play another part in this episode.
