![]() | calculating Bailout using V-Planner Hi Could someone tell me how to use V-planner to run a bailout profile from the bottom. Which ever way I do it it doesn't bailout until shallower. Thanks Ged |

![]() | Re: calculating Bailout using V-Planner Hi Ged, Thanks Stephane for the reply so quickVery simple: just check the gases you are going to use, they will be included as bailout and/or deco if the MOD you specified is OK. It still looks to me that it's using the Rebreather to get me back to 36m, am i missing something, i've attached a run time below. Thanks for your help Ged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: calculating Bailout using V-Planner Here's how I do it: I add a diving segment to the dive profile for example; If I have a CCR segment to 200' for 30 min, I add another one that would read 200' for 1 min with the appropriate bail out gas put in. In the window that pops up after clicking the add button, make sure to check the "OC" box at the bottom. Andre |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: calculating Bailout using V-Planner No it isn't. It is telling you that your're ascending to 36m on OC. To convince yourself, do the same while unchecking the bailout gases, you'll have a fixed setpoint from bottom to the first deco stop. ![]()

Now I can prep some bailout slates I add a diving segment to the dive profile for example; If I have a CCR segment to 200' for 30 min, I add another one that would read 200' for 1 min with the appropriate bail out gas put in. | #1 COPIS Mini Meg Girl ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: calculating Bailout using V-Planner On the left hand side when selecting ccr gasses, you insert depth, time, mix, setpoint. Then make identical one on the left hand side for the same depth - you put 0 for time and them you put the gass mix and at the bottom of the box you click OC. For the second bail out that would be in th right hand column under OC DECO. listed below is a dive plan it is kind of hard to read. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: calculating Bailout using V-Planner Thanks Stephane for the reply so quick The error you have, is 16/50 is entered as a dil, but 16/46 as a bail out mix. To the deco program, it's a different mix. You need to put that same 16/50 into the deco column, and then it runs from bottom up OC on dil.It still looks to me that it's using the Rebreather to get me back to 36m, am i missing something, i've attached a run time below. Thanks for your help Ged Regards |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So Ross just to clarify :- If I enter a dil of 18/45 for the ccr segment I must enter the same mix as a bailout if I want to bail out from the bottom ? If not then I am wondering how to bailout from the bottom on a different mix to my dil ? TIA

![]() ![]() | Re: calculating Bailout using V-Planner As i see it you are doing it correct. your 16/50 is the dil, but v-planner calculates worst case scenario, and that must be bailout after 25mins.. Then the plan switch to 16/46 for bailout and then ascend to 36 meters, and you have your first stop. The reason why v-planner dosent give you any info from 56 to 36 is that you are on the move and end/po2 is changing. only my 2 cents.. /Allan |
