Drinking during deco

Hello!

I think
a good opinion to get a drink during the decostop is... Platypus Product Detail

What do you think about that?

Re: Drinking during deco

Or this...

Been using it for a couple of years now on long dives. Great for the Summer here when the water is warmer than most people air temperature...

Red face Re: Drinking during deco

this is also an opinion but i have no peevalve in my drysuit.
i think 0,5l are enough.

Last time i had a verry bad dive (end of the dive).
I didn't go to the toilet before the dive, and drank a lot of water(lake) during the dive.
and at the end of the dive my telescope eyes touched the glasses of my mask and my teeth were grinding. It was very bad.

Re: Drinking during deco

For those in UK (and probably elsewhere) ...the lucozade sports pouches work well....small isotonic drink pouches... go in a leg pocket a treat

Shouldve p*ssed in your suit... cleaning your undersuit is nicer than a bladder bend (I suppose!)

Re: Drinking during deco

I use the 3L cammel bag with a neoprene coating. Works fine. Use a Dive Rite P-Valve ( Tauchschule Submariner Tauchen in München Tauchausrüstung & Sonderanfertigungen ) very easy to use, simple to loose.

Cheers Markku

Re: Drinking during deco

Hi

Those sort of bags should work just fine as long as you have somewhere to put it - pocket etc. I use a bag a bit similar to these.
