![]() | Re: Which booster We used a Jetsam baby booster down in the Dominican Republic last year , the little sucker ran for 10 days straight for 16 hours a day , running like a champ. It has my vote for a nice small booster and sure can take the punishment. |

I had a haskel ADG 32 and it was very nice but too big for home use so after much deliberation I have traded it for a HI pump 5G-DS-30 which pumps 6.1cubic inches per stroke. what witch one you have and your throughts on it as much info on it would be great i know the Haskel ones are great but a bit pricey we have one a work for the mine rescue grear (BG4's) these are prices for the dealer in oz AG30 $11118.51 ADG15 $15940.53 AGT7/15 $18831.42 but they dont do the minni sport booster Thanks Dan Give simon hadwin from divetec a call and he will sort you out. http://www.divetekoz.com.au/ I looked at the MPS pumps and a smaller haskel but this was the best deal. The 5G-SS-30 is also a nice pump but at only 3.1cuin per cycle a bit small for me personally. You might find the ADg 15 doesnt have the boost capacity you need - ie only 15 times the drive gas pressure. Steve |

I sent my unit back to the factory last August after about 4 hours of use, with massive piston bypass. So far I'm up to 9 promises that the redesign is complete and my unit will be done "in a week." ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Which booster I was quite impressed by the Divetech Ltd booster shown at LIDS 2007 (but I'm not an enginner so what do I know ). See DTB5C on: Gas booster - Trimix - Diving. This booster is CE certified! It's made from parts that have been used by the MOD, allegedly part of the pump was used to pressurize some gas on Harrier jets! Two key points I took away from my discussion were: 1) Air to drive air pump is isolated from compressor for other gas. In fact you need to fit a glass inline thing filled with oil to provide an oil mist in drive gas to lubricate air pump if filling from scuba tanks. Was designed to be driven from paint gun type compressor. 2) Uses less air as only one stroke is powered by air pump, supply gas pressure & a spring used to return compressor piston. But price tag was around £1,000. JT Last edited by jptaylor9 : 12th March 2007 at 18:53. |
