The booster seems quite expensive compared with the KISS booster once you've factored in the hoses and connectors. How much did you spend on the hoses, shipping and VAT? (if you don't mind me asking ).

| Despotic Overlord ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Booster was $1450 - KISS is $1575 - so thats saved me $125 Whip Kit - I used Rons from TMISHOP which I can not remember how much i paid now (picked it up from him when we dived together in Canada - was planning to use it with the KISS but works just fine with this one) I think Rons kit is like $650 or so but is much nicer than Jetsams and has quick disconnects on everything eg pump to Js of O2 etc Only thing i had to get was UK Bull Nose adapter to 1/4"NPT for whip kit which was like £30 I actually got 2 so I have quick disconnects on O2 and He. Import duty was like £170ish quid.... I don't think that the HI pump from Techblue will be dearer than jetsams....obviously the final price depends on what you order and what fittings and bits of whip kit you allready have.... They have them in stock though and it turned up in 48 hours.....I had been waiting over 2 months for the KISS one... Stuart |

(if you don't mind me asking Customs is something we all have to deal with unfortunately, to reduce the costs for the European market we will be sourcing fittings locally to make life easier for everybody. If you wish we will still offer any fittings and custom hoses in any configuration you may need. The same applies to the Pelican case and plucked foam. ).Cheers, Chris

![]() | Is it ok to use one booster pump (HI or Jetsam) to boost both oxygen and trimix? Or is there a risk that the trimix contains small amounts of "dirt" that may cause problems when boosting oxygen? /Mikael |
