| RBW Member | Pros and Cons please. Our shop is ready for nitrox and plan to expand into trimx soon would this be a good investment? it will be installed onto a bauer 13 cfm compressor and used for comercial fills (30+tanks a day) so duty cycle would be a issue. thanks for the help and aloha! Hi Brian, Our shop is ready for nitrox and plan to expand into trimx soon would this be a good investment? it will be installed onto a bauer 13 cfm compressor and used for comercial fills (30+tanks a day) so duty cycle would be a issue. thanks for the help and aloha! V/R Brian Lindbeck I don't own one, but have used it personally several times while getting fills from Wayne Kinnard at Amigos Dive Center in Ft. White, Florida. I can tell you that the few times I have used it, it has been very accurate and easy to use. It beats the heck out of partial pressure blending, and you basically get the percentage Trimix that you dial in every time. I can also tell you that Wayne is extremely helpful and honest to deal with. I'm sure most other people on this board who have dealt with him will tell you the same thing. Also, as far as duty cycle goes, I imagine Wayne pumps as much gas out of his fill station as any place in the world, so I would think it is a very robust unit. As far as wear and tare on the compressor itself, someone else would have to comment, as I don't know. I do know that Wayne runs his compressor 10-15 hours per day 24/7 and I don't think it has gone down more than once in the last couple of years. Regards, Randy

| RBW Member | Re: Tri-Hunter 6000 Randy, Thanks for the reply, Our compressor runs for about 10-15 hrs a day aswell so that was a great review verry helpfull. Any idea what size his compressor was? not sure if it will make much of a differance but it may come down to flow form the regulators that are suppied with the kit. On ease you use It was really that simple just "dial it in" and it was realiable after that. other systems are priced well above this i wonder why? V/R Brian Lindbeck |
