Coltri MCH6 Pressure maintaining valve?

Anyone fitted a PMV to a coltri MCH6?

Where to get one?

Or what thread the outlet is so I can adapt to a MDE PMV?

thanks

Dunno what the outlet is on the current Coltris, but we have a big second stack on our Coltri and use an MDE on that at about 150bar. Seems to work fine. My understanding is that a PMV is essential for efficient filtration.

yep trying to get one after the first filter on the compressor before the second stack. The manual says 6-1/8 but no idea what that relates to in the real world
2nd stack is easy cause its MDE and back to nice 1/4 BSP fittings.

Re: Coltri MCH6 Pressure maintaining valve?

the PMV needs to go AFTER the last stack - you need to keep both stacks at pressure for the media to work. That might make it easier to do - all you have to do is connect the stacks and you probably already have the outlet to the original coltri stack ?
6-1/8 might be = 1/8 BSP thread to a 6mm tube fitting (its not so bizzare as it sounds having metric and imperial mixed.)
So, the way we have ours is hard 6mm tube between the output of the coltri and the extra stack then the PMV into the 1/4 BSP outlet of the second stack then on to the whip. So you'd probably need some 6mm tube (cheap) and a 1/4 BSP to 6mm fitting, plus the one to go into the coltri which may be 6-1/8 as per the above.
Local hydraulics shop will have all the bits....

yep am keep the one after the final stak I want to add one after the first stack to amke sure that the 1st filter does its job properly before passing the air onto the 2nd one.

it's not 1/8 BSP the thread is to course for that.
