But since you are an ocean away, perhaps you might prefer to do some basic troubleshooting and fix it yourself. The Jetsam booster is an *extremely* easy piece of kit to disassemble. Replacing a single O-ring (like the #20 below the Reed valve) and reassembling will usually rectify everything. What are the symptoms?

Very short cycling of the booster pump & no boost What are the symptoms? stripped & cleaned no difference

Stuff like checking the valves aren't leaking etc. It also told you how to imitate the action of the Humphrey valve manually - it could be worth searching for and trying this, it would at least tell you if the problem was the humphrey. There aren't many reasons for the thing not to work! Neil

Must be something serious in there.Neil

When I asked about the humphry valve I was told that Jetsam do not even have parts ,if it's f***** throw it away & fit a brand new one ! mind you they didn't tell me a price ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had a new J of gas delivered today & after equalising at 150bar the piece of **** boosted effortlessly to 200 bar ! I then equalised with another down to 75 & boosted to 100bar & finally equalised another to 35 bar but it didn't want to know about boosting Seems as if below about 50bar in the O2 supply J it doesn't want to know ![]()
