Re: New Booster In Town!!!

Is the unit CE rated / stamped for O2? Where would the unit have to be returned to for warranty work?

Re: New Booster In Town!!!

Hi,

The Booster is CE certified and my company in Sweden is under process of taking the European dealership from the manufacturer. So for all warranty issues we'll be taking care of in the future.

Re: New Booster In Town!!!

Do you have any technical specs on it, such as what the boost ratio's are? Judging by the specs you listed with 7 bar as max drive, and 420 bar as max boost, it should be a 60:1 ratio, which is pretty overkill for scuba in general and especially O2.

Re: New Booster In Town!!!

i think also you have a massive cooling problem with this ratio.normaly you use the drivegas for cooling the hp-part or the gas.

This unit appears to have the drive gas cooling the boost cylinders as well, it's just overkill if this particular unit uses a 60:1 ratio.

Hi Wael

your Booster looks nice. Once you have done your tests on it please advice. As we are about to buy a booster.
Are there different sizes.
Can you e-mail me specs on this unit.

Kind Regards

Re: New Booster In Town!!!

Hi guys,

The boosting ratio is indeed 60:1 and intended to be used safely with 100% O2. I have already written the general specs by the beginning of this thread, but if you need to know anymore in general then please send me a PM or an email.

Best Regards. Wael

Re: New Booster In Town!!!

Hi,

Just wanted to write some feedbacks of the booster which I have purchased and we have been testing for a while.

The booster works according to the manufacturer's specifications and has only 1 down side which is it requires high volume of drive gas which is approximately 500 liters per minute.

After the required modification in order to minimize the volume of the drive gas, we came up with 2 models which are manufactured to meet our requirements and just got CE certification:

1- GBT15/40

- Double Stage O2/He Booster
- Ratio 40:1
- Drive Gas Pressure: 4 - 8 Bar
- Min Inlet Pressure: 3 Bar
- Max Outlet Pressure: 332 Bar
- Max Flow Rate: 64L/min
- 2 Years Warranty
- Certificate: CE

* Price 1450 Euros excluding VAT and Shipping

2- GB25

- Single Stage O2/He Booster
- Ratio 25:1
- Drive Gas Pressure: 4 - 8 Bar
- Min Inlet Pressure: 7 Bar
- Max Outlet Pressure: 200 Bar
- Max Flow Rate: 42L/min
- 2 Years Warranty
- Certificate: CE

* Price 950 Euros excluding VAT and Shipping

Best Regards. Wael
