Kiss Baby Booster not working

Well it has been 3 years and may baby booster has finally developed a fault!

The booster now cycles very quickly and will not boost, I have read the manual and it seems very easy to service. Can any body give me any insight to what the problem is most likely to be?

I have the filter installed so I am not sure if it will be the reed valve. Do I need to buy the service kit from Jetsam?

Thanks in advance.

Louis

Hello Lewis
Its probably the piston ring. Very easy to be fixed. You must be careful when to realign the piston back in the cylinder when you put it back in again. Very easy to do it
Cheers

Not a bad idea, although the thing is _so_ simple that once you've done it once, you'll be able to do it blindfolded. The Jetsam manual is excellent and has lots of pictures in it, so it shouldn't be an issue. Just be sure to evenly loosen/tighten the hex cap screws ont he bottom as you remove the head and reed valve structure.

The only weird part is some of the o-ring sizes are a little unusual. I tried a bunch of local places, but ended up ordering a lifetime supply from Industrial Supplies which carries all the goodies I need.

I'm guessing it's one of the four o-rings that seal against the reed valve plate...failure of the right one of those would describe the scenario you hit. They're easy to replace. While you're at it, do the o-ring that seals the HP piston against the head.

the only bit I struggle with is the green spring seal and which way round it goes.
