![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Haskel AG-62 Is anybody familiar with the Haskel AG-62, and the suitability of the unit for boosting O2? Of course, I'm referring to AFTER it is O2 cleaned....but I can't find any info on the unit anywhere. Can anybody fill me in on the specs of the AG-62? Thanks! Mike |

I got the same rough info you did just by interpreting what I could.....but can anybody else give me a full interpretation, or at least pertinent information, regarding the AG-62? Thanks!http://www.hydmos.se/huvud/haskel/gboost/gboost.htm Compressed gas driven gas booster Minimal pressure drive gas 10 bar Max outgoing pressure 612 bar Mike |

The AG 62 is a single acting, single stage double airhead booster.Mike The AG62 has a minimum inlet pres. of 200#, a max inlet pres of 9000# The boost ratio is 25:1 The displacement per stroke is 3.1 cubic inches Maximum outlet pres. is 9000# You could in theory, get 4500# out with a 200# supply, but efficiency would be deplorable and you'd suck up drive gas like no tomorrow. The static outlet stall pres is 60 times the drive pressure. ie: you need over 100# drive to get 3000# out. AG's don't scavenge supply tanks very well. With a min supply pres closer to 800 to 1000#, it'll be much better. It's listed weight is 15Kg and has 3/8" SAE fittings. With proper O2 servicing, it's fine for O2 ... max of 5000# (same limit for all haskels) For getting the most from supply tanks, and boosting to high levels, the AGT series is the prefered booster. These suckers take a *LOT* of drive air. Hope that helps, Darlene This is an AGT 15/30 setup |

I wasn't able to come up with anywhere near that amount of info....I didn't even get a reply from Haskel when I emailed them a few days ago.Quote: This is an AGT 15/30 setup I'd love to have one of those....but for the price, I don't think I can pass up the AG-62.Looks like quite a loud setup to have inside your house with that huge I-R compressor. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Quote: (Originally Posted by nigelh) The notable difference is that the AG62 has a double air drive (2 of them end to end, essentially) so it cam manage a high compression ratio at pretty good speed. (cu in/minute)By comparison, the AG 75 is only 1.2 cubic inches per stroke, but has a slightly higher minimum supply pres and 2500# higher max output pres. It's also a 25:1 compression ratio and a 75 times drive air stall factor. |
