What are you planning on using these for?

These are one use items which require a handheld pump to withdraw a certain volume of gas into the tube. Volume required varies on chemical sampled from 1 stroke of the pump to sometimes as high as 50 strokes. The depth of the reaction front gives you an estimate of the amount of chemical present. Once sample is taken and introduced into the tube the tubes are spent and must be replaced for a second reading. if you plan on using the tubes to detect "bad" stuff in a one time sample mix, you are fine, but you can't use these for monitoring a gas supply.

HTH,

Rob

Re: GASTEC Airtec/Drager Detector tubes

I'd stick with the Drager tubes especially if you think you will be wanting to do moisture levels. I have used the Gastec moisture tubes which have poor precision and accuracy. The Drager tubes may take longer to run and are slightly more expensive but reliability is greater. You can get the tubes from Divex.

I think Factair also sells them. Look under Online purchasing.

The flow rates depend on which tube you are using. If you get the Drager or Gastec catalogue it has all the flow rates for each tube.
