Question Compressor that have been underwater?

OK

So what can I do to a compressor that has been under a foot of water.
Going to change the oil in both the compressor and the engine, neither seem to have water in them.

anything That I should look out for?

And anyone know a good source for compressor manuals?

Re: Compressor that have been underwater?

Great opportunity to check for leaks!!!

very sorry to hear it went for a dive.. related to recent flooding I guess or did it fall off the back of a ship in Branscombe Bay?

Seriously though ...What make of compressor is it? We have a weird one at our club (away at moment and cant recall the name) but we get a guy down from midlands to service it each year.. and he seriously knows his stuff on them.

Hi Beanie,

give Lenhardt and Wagner a call ( +49 6251 54849). Speak with David Jackson, i think he is from the UK or US, and speak englisch. I work with him for the last 5 years, cool guy with many experience with compressors and all the problems.
Good Luck.

Cheers Markku
