Re: Russian booster pumps

Uhh....... dunno these days. There was a guy on EBay recently with a ton of this stuff, and he was selling IDA-71's and shipping reliably. I'd go and check there a little. I imported them by the sea-freight container load and had no no way to get these guys to ship them any other way.

If you end up with one, let me know as there are a few little things to know about and no sense learning the hard way (like I had to do). And I've got several parts sets and tool sets left over if they are needed.

I'd sort of like to get another manual one for myself, like a dummy I sold it in a moment of stupidity. Nice little thing.

You're welcome to buy it back ! I'm too damn lazy too manually pump tanks any more. I did modify it- machined adapters for the input & output ports that convert to 1/4 FNPT. As we both know, w/ that thread you're off and running for any setup of your choice.

Best,
Ken

Sheesh..... I could not *for the life of me* remember who I sold it to. I'm glad it's a friend! Yes, PM me and we'll make a deal.

Re: Russian booster pumps

You can try David Dekker (davidsimport@zonnet.nl) in Holland.

He sells all sorts of Russian diving gear if you contact him direct or as "SWIMXS" on ebay. He is a bit on the pricey side as far as IDAs go, but he used to sell the manual (KN-3) pumps for around 720 Euros. This is a reasonable price for a brand new booster IMHO...

Re: Russian booster pumps

That's the seller I had in mind. A few guys have gotten IDA-71's from him and he seem reliable.
