![]() | Re: Dolphin mCCR training Hi Dale Well done on building your own unit.. Where did you get your ccr training? did you teach yourself? Its a good idea to get the correct training with a approved tested ccr, before building your own.. only my point of view! AH yea saving money.. cheap coversion.. how much is your safety worth? Get educated.. buy the best you can afford.. good advice for a new rebreather diver ? Now just where do you come off from? My converted Dolphin was cheaper than a KISS. How do you figure anyone will live longer buying a canned unit over a conversion or homebuilt? The conversions and homebuilt units usually mean their owners are far more in tune with what makes a safe unit. The knowledge required to make or convert far exceeds that which you would get in any canned training programme as well. Dale |

![]() | Re: Dolphin mCCR training Hi If you have a look on jetsams web site.. you can down load a free kiss manual.. Yeah, that's what I was trying to prevent. I wasn't sure if there was any training that would get me ready to dive the Dolphin in CCR mode. I'll look into KISS training. Hopefully there is some in my area. |

Get educated.. buy the best you can afford.. good advice for a new rebreather diver ? don't worry at all I really don't know if Dale has been educated befor switching to kiss style, on the other hand I know that years agos Dale spent hours and hours educating me behing his pc to permit me to convert my machine and dive it properly !!! For guys like him, I mean a brillant enginner, cave diver, diving instructor... converting a dolphin ccr kiss and self educating himself to dive it does not represent a big task nor a big risk... so you really don't have to worry about Dale Safety regards jean mi |
