The rumour mill has been churning out comments on ocean trials down our side of the world for a "new" machine, but I have not heard/seen anything concrete.

I heard a rumour that there will be news in early 2007...
I have been fishing around for facts but so far just have lots of promising rumours......Im psyked about what those rumours say so lets keep fingers crossed that we learn more soon

I just read this on Poseidon's site:

" Acquisition Information: the MK5 can be produced in minimum production lots of 200 following the original design shown here or with upgraded electronics, power, and laptop interface systems. Customer-specified variations are also possible. "

Well more speculation - I heard that it will be very small - briefcase sort of size -

Ties in with some of the things you can read between the lines listening to the Bill Stone interviews - He wanted a new breather that was as capable in many respects as the 5P but was light so it could be carried by hand several days hikinging into the bottom of the caves he explores.

The trouble (aparently) with the 5P was that it was too big - at least if you carry it for a couple of days straight.

found some info for myself Stone Aerospace Smart Tools, Systems, and Vehicles for Exploring and Commercializing the Frontier . Bill is such a brilliant man...can't wait to see what Cis delivers this year.

saw this wing/harness at DEMA and wasn't that impressed..looks like a good recreational setup as far as size, carrying handle, etc,...any thoughts out there
