Yes, there's been a new model of Azimuth on the market since last year, but basically it had just a few changes, nothing major. I guess you're talking about the new breather they are about to launch in January using the Nemesis cases with only one tank and using the same dosing bloc as the Azi?![]() I've seen it, cannot comment much about it. I know that "Le vieux Plongeur" located in Marseille, France is taking orders now for a January delivery. Price with cert is about € 1000 cheaper than the Azi. Google "vieux plongeur Marseille" for contact info. Best Philippe |

Best Philippe They offer a pdf about the unit: http://www.vieuxplongeur.com/Telecha...2040%20OMG.pdf I must say the pdf is confusing. In some pictures it looks like it has two cylinders (fig 3,17,18). But in most of them it looks like there is only one cylinder. Most of the parts look very similar to the Azimuth but they seem to have changed some of them, like the OPV-feed from the exhale lung. The flow meter also seem to have a better range now (higher). Why does the dosing have two inlet hoses if there is only one cylinder? If the bothered to change the OPV-feed why not also change the dosing? Philippe, did you find any pricing info?

And in the document of "the viex plongeur" the picture 3, 17, 48 and fig. "A" are from the a regular Azimut. The name of the new unit is "UB40" and is scheduled to be for sale next year. |

![]() | Re: New Azimuth Hmmm, very sexy... rebreather doesn't look too bad either Does this mean we'll finally get an Azi forum under SCR's They gotta do something about the name though - UB40 will go down like a lead balloon (Used to be the form used for Unemployment Benefit - THAT is definately not sexy!) |
