Its a very capable unit and breathes really well. It has a ADV, KISS valve, single 4 l counterlung, dump on the base of the scrubber and a two cell ppO2 display. The mouthpiece and hoses are easily removed and blanked off for transport. |

It was the same configuration on the DecoRider (right spelling this time) I tried. In a slightly head down feet up position, does it means the dump valve has a tendency to leak? So what about fitting the dump valve somewhere else (on an exhalation CL for instance)? Thank you for the pics Duncan Cheers

![]() ![]() | I heard a rumour at Oztek that Kevin Gurr's next project will be a sidemount Rebreather - didn't get any details beyond that. Does anyone else know anything about this? Thanks, Robert |

The theory being that you can use it to recover from a flood.Quote: (Originally Posted by cedricverdier) It was the same configuration on the DecoRider (right spelling this time) I tried. In a slightly head down feet up position, does it means the dump valve has a tendency to leak? Not if you put a washer in the dump so that spring tension is increased. My D5's will only dump if you are upside down and fill the CL completely. For the most part I dump through my nose.Quote: (Originally Posted by cedricverdier) So what about fitting the dump valve somewhere else (on an exhalation CL for instance)? Then it tends to interfere with the case around the counterlung.Quote: (Originally Posted by cedricverdier) Thank you for the pics Duncan Will be diving with John Volanthen later today and will try to get some photos that aren't taken at night like last time. He's planning on diving his sidemount and chestmount Rebreather's together.Quote: (Originally Posted by Robert Cook) I heard a rumour at Oztek that Kevin Gurr's next project will be a sidemount Rebreather - didn't get any details beyond that. Does anyone else know anything about this? I've heard similar. He has shown an interest in various homebuilt units - not the only UK manufacturer to either. |
