Re: Dolphin like Rebreather

Now some photos from a testdive last weekend.

I use here the sensor housing from tecme connected in the inhale hose with an shearwater GF

here ready to go to the lake. I have for my buddy the housing closed with a transparent backplat. So my buddy can check if anything is theight and he can also see me breathing and of course have a look at the colour of the sodalime

next I will integrate the sensor in the housing itself. So no external housing is neccessary. will be ready mid of december.

Beginning of 2007 we will be ready to ship some samples. At the red sea in februrary we will test the rig in his final state.

Nice picture of the TR300sc underwater.

with a transparent closing the buddy can look at the scrubber and the counterlungs
also the bubble check is very easy.

Re: Dolphin like Rebreather

Hello and happy new year.

I was able to realise the new sensorhousing for the TR300sc the last weeks.

It is just a prototype but it works fine.

here are some pictures:

the housing holds 3 sensors

here you see the connector to the inhale counterlung

the housing is direct "connected" to the scrubber head

the upper side of the head, one connector for an Dolhin breathinghose, the other for bypass and oxygen.

regards
Holger

Re: Dolphin like Rebreather

We are now back from our travel to egypt.

It was very nice diving. Everything was perfect (except the weather, it was windy and a little bit cold).

Here some pictures from the TR300sc. I used 2 x 2 Liter 200bar steels. (I had mine O2 Booster with me to fill them upto 200bar)

we made 9 dives some are 30+msw all takes upto 60 minutes divetime. In the loop there was only a small amount of condensation Water. We changed the scrubber every day (only 1.3kg).

on the boot read for diving.

enter the water

if it goes deeper we using a sling tank (40cuf) for bailout

very nice shape of the TR300sc

regards
Holger

Re: Dolphin like Rebreather

Hello,

some Pictures from the trip with Dave in July to the Andrea Doria. It was pleasant Trip and the TR300sc works very well. All dives to the Doria 70msw (210ft) went well and next year I will come back.

something new to the TR300sc,
now also available with PRO-Conn connectors for Submatix breathing hoses.

So we can now deliver TR300sc for both Dolphin and Submatix breathing hoses.

also on pictures you can see the new scrubber heads from TecMe.

Martin and I should also have in future a universal ADV.

Re: Dolphin like Rebreather

Here are a few more of Holger with his rig aboard EXPLORER on his holiday last year. If I remember, he did U-853, USS BASS, and Andrea Doria over 5 days of diving and had zero issues with the rig. (2) days on the U-853, (1) on the BASS, and (2) on the Doria.

Holger, the rig is sitting in it's special place in the LDSOH waiting for you to return!
(A real enthusast is a guy who leaves a rig behind here to use 'next year'.. )

New TR300sc parts

Hello,

now after just a year of development I have the finial release ready

The new parts are coming from Martin TecMe

Whats now realized:

1.) a new sensor housing, the housing has on the lower side a p-port to connect the inhale counterlung, on the upperside we have a removeable (screwable) connector for the Dolphin breathing hose (other connectors are available by request)

2.) a new head, we now can use any p-port bypass (e.g. from Dolphin or Ray, or the 1 1/4" mounting as well)

3.) new bottom, with new overpressure valve. We use an normal jacket outlet, but with modified spring to get a comfortable overpressure.

here again a picture (opened) from the sensor housing. it is enough space for 3 sensors. for monitoring I use the perfect shearwater GF.

The diving with the new parts is very comfortable. Maintainance is now very easy.

Next I will protect the counterlungs with a cordura hull.

Last will be a new housing for all parts.

so thats all. we can now deliver the TR300sc in small amounts outside the EU

regards
Holger
