![]() | Rebreathers Australia Stingray?? Hey all, Is anyone out there diving the Stingray? I've only just come across it and can't seem to find a heap of info about it... Reviews, opinions? How does it compare against the sport kiss? Cheers! ![]() |

Also, I'm not aware of any other Stingray owners who are on Rebreather World. The best source of information is our web site. Dan Nafe (dan@scuba-training.net on Rebreather World) reviewed the Stingray a while back in this thread. As for a comparison with the Sport Kiss, the Stingray is roughly the same size and weight, but with better streamlining and much better trim. If you contact Dr. Errol Harding in Adelaide (ejh@esc.net.au), he could tell you who is diving a Stingray in Australia. cheers... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Rebreathers Australia Stingray?? I was lucky enough to actually see one in captivity in Adelaide a couple of weeks ago. It is a very tidy unit, the scrubber is a work of art. It's a well thought out unit and with the CLs higher up in the case looked like the WOB would be much better than the SK. I've just given up diving the SK - bit too agricultural for me now although I am grateful to it for my first 50 hours on CCR. The owner of the stingray had only one piece of criticism of the stingray - he wishes Dr Errol wouldn't keep changing things! Apparently Errol is a bit of a tinkerer! The stingray is a piece of kit really worth looking at. Hi, digital_steve! We're admittedly a small company (only four of us), and we have just a few tens of units out there so far.
