Terry is an unknown quantity at this point
Hammerhead CCR

I just had the opportunity to see / inspect one of these close up, courtesy of Joe Radomski.
This is one impressive machine. The pictures posted here do not do it justice. The attention to detail, modularity, functionality, and overall build quality is simply topshelf. It looks damn near indestructable and I can find anything on it that I'd have a second thought about.

Keven has raised the bar, and I've ordered one.

Re: Hammerhead CCR

It's definitely caught my eye...it looks like kevin nailed it on this one!

Modularity!
Radial Scrubber!!
Redundancy!!!
Integrated Deco on both handsets!!!!
Solid Build!!!!
Hybrid m+eCCR!!!!!
Front or back mounted counter lungs!!!!!!

this manufacturer has been paying close attention to the evolving needs of divers! And i'm really looking forward to hearing about how it flies. Please do tell.

the one thing that I don't like is the fact that you have to use a fresh battery with each dive. my wife and I would have a small mountain of batteries by now...but in the grand scheme of things I suppose it's relatively minor, I just try to avoid waste when I can.

so many rebreathers, so little time

Re: Hammerhead CCR

I don't have a HH rebreather, but I dive a HH on my Mk 15.5. I have over 110 hours this set and have had no major issues. I've ordered an extra HH for my unit so that I can check out the delrin handsets and this one will have a HUD.

I've been diving HH electronics since the days of the clear ones, and I'm really happy with my current set. My feeling is that Kevin has worked out 99.9% of the prevous bugs of old handset revisions and now offers an awesome product. You can even get them on the phone now (without even having to call 50 times in a row to annoy the $hit out of them).

Keep up the good work Dude!

Aloha,
Charlie
