Dave, Thanks for sharing the information on the article, especially new information about the new Boris base for larger tanks. You mentioned the Boris swims like a dream, have you dived it in strong current yet ? If so, how do you feel about its larger cross-sectional area affected by the current ? I very much like the Boris, except for its size. It just reminded me of the PVR-BASC and BMR-500 units which were PITA to use in current environment. And looking at the second picture in your article, I see that its thickness looks about 1-1/2 to 2 times the thickness of the Meg. Minus the CL of course, which isn't a problem since I would simply use BMCL with any unit sold with OTS-CL. I wish there is a mini-Boris around similar to Evolution/Inspiration and Sport-KISS/Classic-KISS concept.

Hi Phi, Quote: (Originally Posted by decoweenie) You mentioned the Boris swims like a dream, have you dived it in strong current yet ? Yes I have dived her in a current and trimmed horizontal she dives fine, come out of the horizontal and she can be interesting.......Quote: I wish there is a mini-Boris around similar to Evolution/Inspiration and Sport-KISS/Classic-KISS concept. Next year should see the Boris sidemount appear sized similar to a 15 litre, you could probably backmount that or just sidemount two.... Cheers, Dave Cooper.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Megalodon v Ouroboros Article. Thanks You Dave, I am a big fan of the Meg. and the Boris, but have never even seen a boris in person. If you had to pick just ONE unit what would it be and why (for someone who has a fair amount of CCR experience)? I am leaning toward a Mark 15.5 (if I can find one) or a Boris (I have yet to make a final decision) Thanks in advance for your insight and opinion. Cheers |
