R22D to R17D converter

Before I make something up, anyone know if there is an adapter to convert R22D (Meg/Inspo) cells to R17D (3.5mm Jack). My analyser takes the latter and I'm thinking it could use the Meg cells as I replace them.
Possible or a daft idea ?

Steve,
if you are happy to mess about with wiring, it's easier to just re wire the analyser with molex, if it's something like an el cheapo thst uses a lead to connect the cell this is very easy.
