Try this link. http://www.airheadsscuba.com/images/prespot.jpg I can take it to 99 feet (3 barg) With pure O2 it doesn't take but 1 barg to go to 2.0 PO2

The window in the top is 6.3mm thick by 38mm opening held in by automotive RTV cement.

That and some form of independant 4th+ cell monitoring would seem to cover it all nicely.

Thumbs up The Cell Checker

I wasn't ready to show this yet,but this thread calls for a little info on what we have been working on for the last couple of years.....sorry for the wait to all those that have been waiting on this from me. but things need to be right!the the changes have been extensive
the cell checker tests for cell linearity upto 1.8
and will test 3 cells at the same time(of the same type) so you can see reaction times between them
or 3 different types but one at a time.
and will take most of the cells on the market
the reason i didn't really want the pictures out yet was because the panels are still being printed and the unit is the middle of CE approvals but it is basically finished and ready for production so to those that found it funny when i said i was going for CE.

Do you want one Phi?

I would guess as a dive school proprieter you could use one of these to check the cells of students units.

How do instructors do this at the moment?

Re: Do you check your cells

I check mine using the millivolt display on my Meg on a regular basis (both O2 and Air). Ok, I'll admit it - I even keep a spreadsheet....

Re: Do you check your cells

I tend to check mine every time i calibrate. The Shearwater makes this so simple it's just dumb not to. Although a cell can still be current limited (as mine was the other day to 1.4) I still find it a useful indication of life.

Over the last few months I've noticed that the Mv defiantly tail off. Just before the cells come to the end of their useful life. This is by no means guarantee of cell health so i still spike my cells on decent and assent.

Cheers

Rich

John, that looks every bit as good as you described and well worth the wait. I'll be having one just as soon as they're available.

Good work fella, this is in a different league to some of the other commercial options.

Cheers

Rich
