Questions about O2 Sensors

In my analyser I use a sensor (D-01) from Omni Components Ltd which is the equivalent to the vandergraph R-17. Now for the inspo I need R-22 and was wondering if anyone had experience using the D-05 from omni-components the cells work out cheaper probably 3 new ones for the price of 2 R-22, and are of good quality. I am not about to start cutting corners, and I know AP valves recommends the R-22. So I guess my question is does anyone use these sensors in their rebreather?? And i you do is the performance as good as the proven R-22's. The tech specs are identical, but as with everything is their real function that counts.

Re: Questions about O2 Sensors

Have a shufty in the archives, it's been asked before. The reports weren't especially good as I remember.

Cheers,

Stuart

Re: Questions about O2 Sensors

Don't mean to hijack the thread but..............

We stock the R-17D the R22D from Teledyne AND we have the Dynatron Oxy-3 sensor. (plus others)

Our Teledyne prices are pretty decent since we get them right from the factory about 3 hours from us in California. (means they are fresh too) (just got in a new batch this morning)

You can order them up on our website and we can send out by AirMail and you should have them in about a week.

Mention REBREATHER WORLD in the comments box and we will cover the postage.

ORDER SENSORS HERE

Cheers

Sure -- it will go by postal. Just so you know once it leaves here we have no responsibity for it to get there. What you folks do outside the states with mail is beyond our control.

And this offer won't be a standing offer. Put it in this week and I will be happy to cover the postage.

Cheers
