Ideas for Mid California - april, 2010

I will be in San Francisco for work April 11-14, and am considering bringing the Meg down if I can line up some worth while diving before or after that. I've heard Monterey Bay can be decent, and of course the Channel Islands would be sweet.

I'd like to go no further south than Santa Barbara as i have somewhere to stay there.

I'd be game for a short liveaboard or a couple day trip options.

Anywhere Rebreather friendly i should check out??
