Remarks from Mel Clark about her new book- CCR Cave Diving "Almost Simplified"

I realized as a CCR cave instructor that there is a void of information available to the new CCR cave diver specifically in regards to dive planning. I feel that it is important for a student to be armed with information before attending a class, as this will increase learning, retention, and overall safety.

My latest book CCR Cave Diving“Almost Simplified" is my attempt to help the upcoming CCR cave diver get the most out of their class. Like all my previous “CCR Simplified” manuals the goal is to put in simple words how to use the rebreather in the particular application in this case the cave environment.

The book will be released at the BTS show March 25th. It is a 160 page full color richly illustrated high quality manual. The retail cost is $79.95. There will be a limited supply at the BTS show for the show special price of $70.00.

From the pdf attached in the first post, i wonder about the handsignals for the numbers from one to five. In the pictures they are shoved with the back of the hand outwards. In all the litterature that i have come across, those numbers are always displayed with the palm outward.

Is this another way of displaying the numbers or is this simply an error that has been overlooked?

to answer some of the above comments:
speleotherm is like my other new word freradicals (meaning free radicals), it just sounds better!!! seriously it's a typo thanks i will change it to speleothem!! the hand signals look better pictured this way, and honestly when giving a 1-5 signal the message is very clear regardless of the front or back of the hand IMHO.

speleotherm is like my other new word freradicals (meaning free radicals), it just sounds better!!! seriously it's a typo thanks i will change it to speleothem!! the hand signals look better pictured this way, and honestly when giving a 1-5 signal the message is very clear regardless of the front or back of the hand IMHO.
