Blue O two liveaboard leaving Hurghada 29th Feb 08

I'm booked on Blue O Two leaving Hurghada on 29th Feb for 'best of' trip and then another weeks shore diving with Tekstream afterwards.

Anyone else on same trip?

Hi,

Not booked on (i wish) but i dived with them (blue o two) last year... watch out for the 7l stage bottles--mine weighed 14kg!!! Also watch out for what you get in your o2 and dil bottles... i had lovely 100% as 'dil'.

Had great fun out there. Sure you will as well!

Yep, i did give them hell for that and i had to keep an eye to make sure the compressor guy wasn't filling my O2 with air after every dive. He soon learnt that if the reg is on, it needs nothing. I did my own o2 decanting.

As far as liveaboards go, it's a nice one-i'd use them again. Great food (too much!), good communal areas, good crew (though the guide we had didn't know too much about tides!). It's not the best RE: rebreathers but it does the job i.e. a J of o2, decanting whips and a tub of lime--you'll be reet.

Diving (the important part) was great and plentiful. You'll have a great time, i'm sure!
