Also note that the end dosent look like it does in the sketch. Its not like a large Achme thread as depicted. Its two flats about 10mm across with a single groove in it.

If you look at the RB80 shots with the green hose. Its like that but with a groove about 4mm across and deeper.

One Caution Here Are You Using Cable Ties With The Stainless Inserts For Locking. The Ones That Use The Plasitc Locking Tab Are Junk And Have A Habit Of Falling Off. That Said, Mabey Using A Oring To Fill The Grove And Provide Sealing Tension, Then Heat Shrink Over It, The Sealing Kind. You Would Never Pull That Off

Then yours is the original version. Just drop Peter an email to get the upgraded parts sent to you, they are a little deeper and wider for more security.

Coliniky will be after some picks for sure as he is the proud new owner of my V4tec. I mentioned to him that this was possable and he was interested.

Yes please to pictures Phi .but having read the thread again do I need the newer upgraded parts to do this mod ? & Mark do I have the newer ones or did you not upgrade them ?

No i didnt up grade them they are origional.Mind you i doubt if it makes much difference to this particular issue.

I will take the pictures tonight and post them.

On the pictures, you will see the newer part which is slight elongated to allow for more room for the zip tie (which what Peter recommends). If I could find the older part, I will show it side-by-side for you.
