My experience differs. I tested this set-up at 315' a couple of weeks ago - there was more than enough flow in a simulated bailout - "deep/fast" breathing for 10 breaths or so. it worked beautifully. |

Use the correct Swagelok PB hose with the PB fittings and all is well. If you use LP hose or Swagelok HC (or any others for that matter) fittings with the PB hose it will fail as well. Cheers, Dave. The Swagelok PB series work very well.

Will the hose come out of the fitting with the pressure? I had to push very hard on the hose to get it into the PB4-TA4 connector and when I see how the bars are made, I can't imagine it failing.

| Ladies bring a plate ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Golem BOV & Swagelock Connections Hi, You are guessing correctly that a normal SCUBA LP hose can pop off a Swagelok PB fitting. As hard as they are to put on, a few people had them pop off again. I think it was Steve Copeland that went and spoke with Swagelok about it and they were quite eager to not have this system mixed and matched with other parts. My experience was with having the correct PB hose but the Swagelok rep sold me non PB series push on fittings and my Classic KISS' O2 feed parted company on dive one of a liveaboard trip. ![]() A guy at Swagelok also said the little plastic collars used in conjunction with the PB series are important. I can't remember why though. sorry.

Here is a thread that has a couple pictures that I made up... http://www.rebreatherworld.com/ourob...ight=swagelock Thanks Mark |
