I think Mark Chase has one of these but was having trouble doing a neg test (the thread is on here somewhere). Don't think that qualifies as a review, but it didn't look good to me.

Thanks, but I can't read German. Any 1st hand experience of this?

Thanks Padowan for the write up on the Divematics. Looks like I might be going that way.

Cheers, Paul
I have tried the KISS and the V4tec. The Kiss wouldn't hold negative and neither would the V4tec. The KISS was compact and light and the V4tec is a big old lump but beautiful in construction and its simplicity. To use my one has the Apex TX50 reg which is a good start and it breaths fine in OC or CCR mode. It holds positive no problem so i tend to just do that and check all the fittings with soapy water. To hold neg it needs a barrel 0 ring and it doesn't have one. It will hold neg if you keep the mouthpiece in your mouth and let It suck your tongue out

In use I love the V4tec and its well worth the money even of doing neg tests are a thing of the past.

Having decided on the Divematics BOV, due to being able to take my cyclon 2nd stage (and being cheaper than the Golum), I now can't seem to get hold of anyone in order to place an order.
2 e-mails to divematics@divenet.... have gone unanswered.
Does anyone have any alternate contact info for them, or should I be concerned that this is indicative of their responsiveness?

Thanks, Paul
Paul

I had been trying to get ahold of Divematics via phone for the last 3 weeks without success. I called today at about 2pm PST and got him live to place my order. He explained that he has been in NY state for sometime and not available. You might want to give him a telephone call. He did mention that the leadtime for the BOV is about 2 weeks currently.

Thanks. I actually got a mail last night and just put an order through over the phone a few minutes ago.
So faith restored, and feeling poor now!

Re: Which BOV?

Hello

An update for anyone who's interested.

I ordered the Divematics BOV in early December, with the attachment for my Cyclon 2nd stage for the grand sum of 700USD plus 36USD shipping. It was shipped a week or so before Christmas and I was notified of it's arrival by Parcelforce yesterday. All I needed to was pay the 92GBP duty and VAT

With the exchange rate as it is, it's cost me around 500GBP. Is it worth it? Hopefully, I'll never have to find out.

Anyway, it's here, it's all connected and looking pretty good. Getting it wet tomorrow.

Cheers
Paul

Did Sir contact jetsam and ask for the replacement O ring for the known O ring problem with the KISS DSV?

Don't discourage him, we like hearing about his adventures with his kit

When I go to bed every night, I say a little prayer " Good Lord, please make sure my kit works better than Mr Chase's"

It's worked so far

Re: Which BOV?

I have been using the Divematics BOV for about a year.
Tracy installed my Poseidon Xtreme, which I like for it's size among other benefits.
The Xtreme has a QD (MJ ENG) for plugging various gases.
I use the BOV with the Interspiro/AGA FFM and without the FFM.
I have been very pleased with it's use and performance.

Tracy can be reached @ 714 321 1613.

Hi Fredrik

Sorry - busy weekend (didn't get the BOV wet yet, but that's another story).

Hopefully, here are a few pictures of the BOV with Cyclon attached:

Hi Paul,

Have you got the DSV wet in the meantime? How was it?

Cheers,

Phil
