Where can I find replacement valves for my Kiss BOV ?

Hello !

I'm the happy owner of a Kiss BOV on my Inspiration. When having a deep check of my unit, I noticed that one of the one-way valve is not working properly anymore (the little grey plastic valve is deformed).

Can one of you guys tell me where I can buy a couple of spare one-way valves ? Preferably in Europe...

And if someone has technical data on how to open the BOV, that would be great too !

Anyone who supplies Interspiro parts will stock them. If you check the archive then there is a part number somewhere.

Interspiro for the valves.
Download the Kiss manual from Jetsam's website for the BOV, or have someone in the UK loan you the service DVD.

Or buy my spare Inspo Hose - KISS BOV adaptors and run standard Inspo flappers

Just an alternative - I've heard tell that the Inspo flappers have better WOB and may be easier to get hold of.

That sounds a very interresting idea... I just don't have any idea of what it worths... If the price is reasonable, I might go that option ! Can you please send me a PM with a proposal ?

Just give John Routley a call at Narked @ 90 in the UK. He made me a pair and the price was very reasonable. Very much improved the WOB, and the standard APD service kits have flappers that work. I'm guessing they were "in stock" as they arrived rather quickly here in the US.

Will drop you a PM tonight. It'll be reasonable - they are just sat on a shelf in my cellar.

Didn't realise John still made them - was told that they were like rocking horse manure when I tried to buy a second set last year.

I got them around eight months ago, perhaps, from him, so I'm assuming he still has them, but I could be wrong, or perhaps he simply had a spare pair lying around the shop... I really hate messing with change gears to do threading on my lathe, so I was more than happy to acquire the pair instead of trying to do them up myself.
