We have tried them in OC mode at 55m and had no worries. CC mode is superb WOB due to the internal dimentions being the same as the original OEM DSV. Light as a feather, breathes well. You switch by twisting the mouthpeice in exactly the same way as the original APD DSV. This closes the loop from the mouthpeice and opens an airway to the second stage valve and exhaust.

I notice from your avtar you dive an rEvo which is fitted with a drager ray style mouthpiece right? If I am right then this BOV works the same way except instead of a lever in the middle you just grasp one of the side nuts and turn! |

It looks very well made, but a bit bigger than the AP BOV prototype, which also has a front mounted diaphram. 1-Any idea how it compares to the AP prototype, size wise? 2-What's to prevent a free-flow when swimming into a current or scootering? 3-Is there any adjustment to the reg to detune it? -Andy |
