![]() | I have gathered several Paragon 2000 second stages which I have done a bit of recreating, This required total disassembly I must now reassemble. Specifications would be of great help. I have contacted Jetsam and as you know they have switched to Mares so here I am , Paragon in Taiwan wishes to deal with dealers only. Any thoughts? thanks! Pete Stumpf |

The tricky part is properly prepping the parts for service. Take all the pieces and set them on a clean well lit work bench. Smack them all to dust with a 4 pound maul. Dispose of the mess. Sit down and have a beer. Go buy a real regulator.thanks! Pete Stumpf Why are you wasting your time & money on the Paragon? | CK+Shearwater ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Wanted Paragon 2000 setup specs Just in my very humble opinion but I would do the following with a Paragon Reg. 1. Collect all parts together. 2. Throw all parts into bin. 3. Go to LDS and buy ANY other reg (it will be better) 4. Open beer & Relax. If you aren't planning to use it for a BOV then maybe you have a reason for dicing with death, if you intend to use it in emergancies (As a BOV) you are wasting your time, IMO. I serviced mine, got it working again 2 or 3 times and it just failed again, my LDS where very negative about the reg, in the end it ceased up and couldn't be dissasembled so I slam dunked it with delight and went another direction. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Be careful when setting up the cracking resistance. The seat gets very easily cookie cut as the metal parts are very sharp... I have a spares set for the paragon. Contact me if you are interested.
