Cool Divematics bov

Hi All,

Just a quicky for all the divematic bov owners out there (past & present). Has any one got a better method of holding the 2nd reg to the bov, not over keen on the splodge method (mastic/silicon & screw). Would like some pic's please.

Re: Divematics bov

I fitted a bunch of o-rings around the spiggot of the 2nd stage where it fits into the adapter. I did this after the body of the previous Omega 2nd stage cracked, where it had obviously taken a knock and had no "give" because of the rigid glue used to fit it into the adapter.
I find this method seals fine, and also allows the 2nd stage to move in the event of another knock. In the pic, the o-rings look too thin, but it's just a trick-of-the-light they do actually seal.

Nice job Padowan, did you score the mouth pc barrel to hold the o-rings in place?

Re: Divematics bov

I didn't score the barrel, I just put as many as I could fit along the length of the spiggot without getting in the way of the locking screw (2 each side), a good slap of silicon lube and it all seals up nicely, but with a tiny bit of give in case it takes a knock again. I've no idea what size they are, I just found some that fitted from my "big-bag of random o-rings"

I have had tracy's bov for some time.. Mine is fitted with an extreme second and have had no issues using silicon and a screw to mount the regulator..

Same for me, a srew and silicone works fine. The only problem I have with divematics is their support. I've been trying to get hold of Tracy via different channels for the last SIX months but no luck so far.

Sorry Joe, I know you did your best to sort it out, but nothing so far.

Hi Joe, I have also been emailing tracy for around 6 months with no reply to my emails.

I've been trying to contact him, because I would like to buy the adaptor to fit a cyclon second stage to the BOV.

If you manage to contact him can you pleaseask him to contact me with cost including shipping to the UK and how I can make payment. Thanks

Unless he knows you as adrenalin junkie it might help to know who he should contact.
