To BOV or not BOV - Split From NACD Cave Summit

New to this forum and even though trying to scan earlier posts/threads I certainly might have missed out on something...

Earlier in this thread a new AP BOV was mentioned. Does anyone know when it is planned to be available as it is not mentioned on the AP website?
Edit: Found a reference to Q2 in a different thread...

Any third party BOVs that work with Inspo?

Hi Dragan,

Welcome aboard.

AFAIK, the AP BOV is still due for Q2 2008. I suspect we'll know more certainly after the London Dive Show in early March. Personally, I'm not that convinced about the way that the AP BOV works, but I do think that it is excellent that another manufacturer is adding a BOV as standard equipment.

Other BOVs do fit the Inspiration hoses. I have a KISS BOV with Inspiration adaptors. Others use the Golem, Divematics or V4Tec, all of which come in threaded versions or with threaded adaptors for the Vision hoses. There is also the Pelagian BOV, but I don't know whether that is readily available for the Inspo.
