Hello!

I am looking for a BOV for a Meg. If anyone can give me their experiences, that would be great!

Thanks

Same here. Love it. No problems, holds pos and neg tests no problem. Some of the others can be problematic in this respect (so I've heard)

GG have also released a new "vario" BOV, that can be used with a FFM.

Same here. Practiced switches under the ice with water temp 1 C last winter. Should be part of every CCR kit.

Re: BOV for Meg

Hi!
I had a Golem before and it was good.
I just got my new BOV from Rebreather lab (Pelagian) and I am very happy with it. Its a lot smaller and lighter then the Golem but with a bigger bore and a better regulator (Scubapro S 600) and flappervalves made for rebreatherdiving. If you want to you can take off the mouthpiece and put on a p-port instead so you can plug it in to a Draeger Nova FFM. When you order it you can decide if you would like the lp-hose coming from the left or the right, that is a nice feature I think.

Cheers
Roger (picture by wearypanda)

Hi there Lancer,

Sorry could not resist to but in!
Please find some pictures attached.
The price is USD 950 including flapper valves and seats. It works direct on Meg and others with similar size hose cuffs. I think it could also be used on Inspiration hoses with a bit of stretching. This remains to be confirmed though.

The main advantages are:

Smallest size on the market
Large bore for low WOB in CC mode
Proper mushroom valves for low WOB
Balanced mechanism on OC side for low WOB
2 minute job to swap mouth piece for optional double o-ringed P-port
Easy to look down due to flat OC section
Can be ordered with standard or reversed flow and left or right LP hose connection
Side of hose connection can be changed later by rotating the OC part by the user.

PM if you would like one!

Andy
